About Us
We started our business in December of 1977 when my wife, Donna, and I decided to move back to our home town to open a television and consumer electronics repair center. Within a year we moved to a larger building and became a Radio Shack dealer and started selling new TVs. Our business continued to grow and we moved again to a larger building which was completely destroyed by fire on July 4th, 1985. After the fire we bought the building at our present location. We are still a Radio Shack dealer and continue to service TVs and consumer electronics equipment. We have since added professional audio equipment and speaker repair to our business.
Speaker repair, rebuilding, reconing and restoration has become a very large part of our service business in the last few years. I saw a need for this service in eastern
• Use the best parts you can find for the job. Our parts supplier stocks only the highest quality parts and offers to research parts for us to get the closest possible replacement parts available. He also custom winds voice coils to exactly match the original. We use only industrial grade adhesives which guarantee that our speaker repairs will last at least as long as the original manufacturer’s. No water based glues like you get with most kits purchased on the internet.
• Do the best work in your industry. We pride ourselves on our craftsmanship and guarantee our speaker restorations and rebuilds for one full year for workmanship.
• Don’t promise what you can’t deliver. Know your limitations. We will never repair a speaker without making sure our customers know what to expect. Many times there are no exact parts available for an older discontinued speaker and substitute parts must be used. We will always let you know if this is the case.
