Welcome to Recone Specialists. Our mission is to preserve the original sound of your audio equipment by repairing, rebuilding and restoring the existing speakers in your home or professional speaker cabinets and guitar amplifiers to their original condition. We can do anything from repairing a broken speaker terminal or lead wire to completely rebuilding a speaker from the frame up. You might have a good pair of vintage home stereo speakers with deteriorating foam surrounds. Instead of trying to jam a pair of cheap, poor fitting aftermarket speakers into the cabinets in their place we can restore the original speakers to like new condition by replacing the foam surrounds. You'll retain the original sound of your speakers at a fraction of the cost of a comparable new pair. We know how important an amp is to a guitar player's tone, and when you find an amp with that perfect sounding speaker, you don't want to replace it with just anything. If that speaker bites the dust, we can rebuild it to the same specifications as the original. Our parts supplier stocks cones and voice coils for hundreds of different guitar speakers, and with our years of experience you'll be guaranteed that the workmanship will be top notch and you amp will sound like it should.
Speakers for your band PA system are essential to your livelyhood. When one goes bad it could cost a good portion of your next gig's profit. A new 18" JBL driver can cost $400 or more. We can completely rebuild those for less than half the cost of new. The materials will be the same specifications as original and the parts and workmanship is guaranteed for a full year. We use only the finest commercial grade adhesives--no water based glues like you'll find in most kits available on the internet.
